The Keys To Staying Young

1. Throw away those irrelevant numbers such as age, weight and height.

2. Keep cheerful friends near you. The grouches will pull you down. …

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, gardening, crafts, or anything. Just don’t let your brain go into “idle” mode. ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’

4. Enjoy the simple things in life.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you are out of breath and your belly hurts.

6. Tears will happen. When they do, endure, grieve, mourn or whatever sad emotions must be let out. Then move on. Be ALIVE while you are alive. Don’t let the tears stop you from living.

7. Surround yourself with what you love – family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, or whatever. Your home is your happy place. Be happy there…

8. Honor your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve alone, get help from someone who can lead the way

9. Take trips. A trip out of town. A trip to the store. A trip the mall. Even if it’s just to the next county. Just don’t take one trip – the guilt trip.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, and at every opportunity.

Always remember, Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
