Having Faith Makes My Tough Situations Manageable

Today’s daily devotion has me doing a soul search about Faith.

Life brings some tough situations sometimes which really test my grit, gumption, fortitude and willpower. However, I am better able to cope with those rough times because I have Faith.

Faith Makes Tough Situations Manageable

Faith In God Through Tough Situations

I have faith that the greatest Power, God, is guiding my steps. My belief in Him and His power helps me to feel confident in my future.

Faith in Myself Through Tough Situations

Faith in myself helps me to feel sure about my abilities, although I do have a hang-up about acknowledging and accepting them (but that’s a devotion for another time).

I know that even when difficult moments face me, I am able to figure out a suitable solution.

Faith also helped me make career decisions. I believe and know I need to work according to my passions.
I know it is practical for me to stay in a job with consistent income. However, the decision to leave a steady income for
an uncertain future was based purely on faith.

I know that diligence in my endeavors will go a long way.

Faith convinces me that working hard and smart is the key to doing well in whatever career and creative path I choose.

Commit to Relying on Faith in Tough Situations

I won’t kid you though. I daily have to determine in my heart to avoid allowing tough situations to discourage me. When they show up, I commit to relying on my faith to get through them.

I know that patience and endurance come naturally when I choose to have faith.

I have some Self-Reflection Questions for you:

1. In which tough situations do you feel like you are unable to make it through?
2. How much time do you spend helping others through tough situations?
3. What are some other sources of faith that you can rely on when needed?
