Get over yourself

Get over yourself.

That’s been my battle cry the past few days as I have been conquering this Branded Video Challenge.

One of gals in the group said it best, “Finding the biggest hurdle is yourself”.

Yup, it’s the truth. Usually the biggest hurdle to conquering any challenge is finding the core problem. And self sure does get in the say – A LOT.

Like the track racer that is running and having to jump over the hurdles, the biggest obstacle to overcome is self.

The #1 lesson. Know this.
You ARE going to fail.
You WILL fail.
You SHOULD fail.

There, doesn’t that feel much better to face the truth.

My goodness, where in the world did we get the idea that we are going to be perfect?

But you know what, when you do fail take the lesson of failure and learn from it.

Failure feels bad for the moment. But, the good feeling of learning from the failures can last for a life time!

I found a good article about truths to tell yourself after failure.
Enjoy it here ==> 12 Truths to tell yourself after a mistake or failure

And YEP, I’m going to keep jumping over the video hurdle!
