The #1 Book that helped me navigate the empty nest
The 7 Minute Solution – It’s more than time management
I’ve made it a practice since about 2007 to read 10 pages from a “good” book every day. It may be a self development book, or a book teaching me a new skill, or maybe an informative journal or magazine.
Recently, I decided to add a previously read book from 2012 into to my reading plan.
I thought the book was going to be about Time Management, which at the time I was struggling with. However, it was so much more.
I was also still transitioning through the reality of the Empty Nest. I never expected a book that I had seen an advertisement about in “Success” magazine to help my personal life so much.

I highly encourage this book for anyone that is struggling with any of these thoughts:
- I don’t feel fulfilled at the end of the day.
- WHAT did I actually accomplish today?
- What am I suppose to do now that “Job Mom” is not my #1 priority?
I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did! Do you have a favorite book that’s helped you to “get on the right track” at some point in your life? I look forward to hearing about it below and who knows, I may add it to my reading list.
