Mindset Healing – Virus Protection For Your Brain

Mindset healing is like Virus Protection for your Brain…
Mindset Healing for Your Brain Philippians 4:8
We all know how dangerous a virus on our computer can be. If you have a PC, it can cause the blue screen of death. It can be destructive or if nothing else slow you down to the crawl of an inchworm. Now, we even virus protection for our smart phones because we use them just as much or more than our trusty desktop computer.

I’ve read that our brain’s capacity for knowledge is more powerful than a computer. What??!!

Can you imagine that? I know I can’t because , but it made me think about the fact that my brain needs
virus protection just as much as my trusty (or not so trusty, depending on the weather) Dell laptop! But, if you go walk the aisle of
local biz that sells software or if you watch your Facebook feed, you aren’t going to find a piece of software to install in
your noggin!

As a busy woman climbing the ladder of success, the ladder of life and the ladder of time you have to work daily at your own virus protection for your brain.

Healing for your mindset

#1. Avoid the negative self talk

Just about as soon as you have a good thought pop into your head, if you aren’t careful the negative self talk will start creeping in. At first you are really excited by the prospect of a new career, or a new and wild vacation destination, but immediately your mind may start telling you that it’s going to be too hard, or too expensive, or you don’t have enough qualifications. Pretty soon, you probably have yourself all talked out of the FUN you were going to have.

Stop the mind chatter. DO. Quit talking so much to yourself in such a negative way!

#2 Open yourself to new experiences

Since we are only here on earth for about 80 years, on the average, why not try some new things? Our brain can get stuck in a rut of the daily mundane. I’m convinced it deadens our brain cells. Sure, we all have our comfort zones that are, well, comforting. They give us the stability we crave and protection. However, comfort zones also stop us from learning and growing as an individual. And when we stop learning and growing we can be like that ancient p486 (1990’s version) computer stuck in the back of the closet that won’t operate on any of the new computer programs.

Think about it, what our world be like without folks that were willing to step outside into new experiences like Amelia Earheart, Coco Chanel, Walt Disney or Henry Ford?

Think of something new you have been wanting try and do it. Maybe it’s starting a blog, or meeting 3 new people, or exercising or taking an art class. Stepping out of the comfort zone will give fuel to your brain cells.

And as a busy woman we all know we need extra fuel!
