    As a mom who is soon to be an empty nester (my son is 16 and I am not prepared for this) I appreciate you making the time to rekindle.
    As you say… we do have our routines…Just a simple I love you make a difference in your life and in the lives of everyone.

    I wonder: Shouldn’t we all use some of these tips all the time, rather than wait til we need to re-ignite the fires? Just asking…

    Hi Robbie! Absolutely we should be using them ALL the time. But, since my website is mostly for Empty Nest women I found out that many empty nest women seem to have this problem. They were so focused on the kids, he was so focused on the job..and once the kids fly the coop they have to ‘reconnect’. But YES, applying them throughout the entire marriage would be perfect!

    Hi Laura! Welcome to the approaching “empty nest zone”. You may not feel prepared now, but you can take action, and plan and get yourself “ready” for D-day (Departure Day). Awww..Don’t be sad =) He will be FINE! And you will too!
