Change

Have you ever been afraid of change?

Some Texas wisdom is a saying our family often says, “The only one that likes change is a wet baby.”

I’ve semi-seriously been in Network Marketing since 2007. I played around with a fun little company for over 3 years. A twisted turn of events found things changing in that company and many of the distributors that I knew left. Later in the year, I officially made my move to the Networking Opportunity that those distributors had migrated to.

I was excited to get back into familiar territory. Back to folks I knew. And I LOVED the effects of the product.

But, over the course of months, I discovered the truth that Micheal Clouse talks about in one of his Network Marketing Training CD’s. The truth is that just because you passionately love a product and highly recommend it does not mean that you HAVE to sell the product.

The company may have a great compensation plan, great leaders, great product, fabulous websites and a list of other “greats and fabulous”. You may find that you have a great Sponsor ready to train you.

But there is another magic “great something” that must be present.

Truthfully, I don’t even know exactly how to explain it. But there is a “something” that happens when YOU know you aren’t in the right MLM business for you and it’s time for a change.

Change.

Such a scary word sometimes because it means new and different. I walk into the unknown.

I recently admitted to myself that the “change” was needed. And once I admitted the conscious decision for the the change – “things” started happening.

It would mean leaving a comfort zone. Starting something new.

And it would be GREAT!

OODLES of greatness await and I’ll explain more about that later today!

Until then, think on these words that I heard in today’s sermon:
“Pray for the right atmosphere in your life”.
And when you pray, expect CHANGE!

It began again with waking to the nudges of our little dog that was ready to get up at 6:15 and have his morning potty time.  I brewed a cup of coffee while waiting on him.  I then put in my morning CD from The Success Pack by Micheal Clouse over at Nexera.com.  I have no shyness when it comes to writing.  But when it comes to talking to someone face to face or over the phone – I’ll admit to anyone that I’m a little shy during the first couple of words.  Perhaps it’s my Texas accent and I wonder if they will actually understand me .  Listening to Micheal’s training is helping me to overcome some of that shyness (not the accent, that is something I’m probably stuck with!).

After my 30 mins with the CD, I spent 1 hour with my Online Power Hour Marketing.

I then spent some time mapping out some college courses I need/want to take.  I found it very ironic that later last night, I finally read Randy Gage’s latest rant. It was the perfect affirmation to the thoughts I had been having over the weekend.  A plan to be sure to stay with my Day Job until my MLM income far surpassed it’s income. That way, I would have money that I could reinvest into building my business – instead of needing it to pay bills.

Planning for and mapping out the college courses took a little more time than I thought.  But, it kept me at home, and I was able to visit with my mother when she came over later.  We had a good visit for 45 mins (wow, that an hour and half I got to enjoy visiting with her that usually would have been only 10 quick minutes).

After a quick couple of errands, I was back home by the time hubby got home from work.  We enjoyed the evening with some Chinese Food and caught up on his days – prepping me for what i was going to go back to work to.  We happen to work in the same office, so his lips had been “sealed” while I was enjoying my “Use or Lose Vacation Days”.

I noticed that my Ideal Normal Days involved some basic things:

• Waking when my body wanted to (rather than the alarm)
• Enjoying time visiting with family in an unhurried fashion.
• Being able to focus during the morning on my 1 Hour Power Hour Online Marketing (rather than the evening when my brain is usually a little more tired)

Ok.  Grab the calendar.  When’s the next scheduled “Ideal Normal Day” that I can create!
